Primary aim of our consulting practice is creating a desirable and optimal convergence of improved business performance and reduced operating costs. We mainly consult with mid-sized businesses, which use our recommendations to extend their existing operations. In some cases, our consulting may lead to revamped platforms and processes, which helps deliver their business better.
Our solutions are custom-tailored to fit the unique needs of an individual organization. Sub-optimal and redundant processes are exposed when we do a detailed study of the existing processes. We either eliminate or reengineer those processes to obtain optimal business gains, while staying in complete alignment with the goals of the organization.
In a typical consulting assignment, we would do the following:
- Study the existing processes through a series of interviews and reading documentation, if any
- Identify business processes that are redundant or those that need re-engineering and transformation
- Advice and guide on how to transform or reengineer the identified business processes
- Recommend changes required in technology to support the changed business processes or newly introduced business process, leveraging existing technology at the customer site to the best extent possible
- Recommend training required for handling new technology, systems and processes and also advice on how to mitigate the risks involved in the transformation
- Present a gap analysis of systems and processes as they are and as they should be, and determine the service levels required for the transformed systems
- Measure current metrics and project the metrics from the new systems and processes. This becomes the benchmark to measure business gains in financial terms, upon implementation
- Advice on what processes and how much of each process can be outsourced
- Recommend protective mechanisms for the customer organization against outsourcing discontinuity risks and other engagement risks
- Outline a thorough engagement model to work with QuScient as an outsourced provider; how to keep a close tab on service levels and seek improvement in service levels; how to explore opportunities to optimize processes and costs
Our consultants have at least 20 years of experience in managing world class businesses as CFOs, CTOs etc. and are ably supported by a team of carefully hand-picked business analysts.
